This position is in their Columbia Branch in Columbia, MO. The minimum salary rage for this position begins at $ 56,888.

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Investigate, adjust, and resolve claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Investigate, review, and evaluate losses as claimed by insureds/claimants; includes determining contractual coverage and negotiating settlements.
Maintain necessary reports and files to insure prompt and efficient disposition (settlement/denial) of claims.
Serve as liaison with agents; assist in problem resolution and claims filing.
Maintain current technical knowledge of claims procedures, company policies and philosophy.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year Claims Adjuster experience
Excellent communication and customer service skill
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
PREFERRED
A thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages personal auto products and coverages
Supplemental insurance education/designations
Prior casualty claims adjusting experience
