Summary: The applicant must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment or individually. This is a 2nd Shift opportunity: M-F either 1pm-12am or 1pm – 9pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Candidate will maintain electrical equipment such as wiring, switches, switchboards and electrical mechanisms along with measuring, cutting, bending, assembling and installing electrical conduits.
  • Responsible for Installation, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of industrial electrical equipment used in the commercial bakery manufacturing for light, power and automatically controlled machinery such as transformers, circuit breakers, AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives, sensors, PLCs and HMIs, camera systems, robotics, temperature control systems, monitoring instrumentation and other electrical / electronic system
  • Responsible for Installation, repairs, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of combustion control equipment and construction.
  • Responsible for interpreting complicated wiring diagrams and schematic drawings and giving direction to others in the
  • Solves all electrical emergency problems or contacts supervisor for instructions Education Or Experience

Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred (commercial bread manufacturing highly preferred)

  • Experience as an industrial electrician in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required.
  • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, electronic test equipment, single and three phase electrical systems and wiring procedures to 600V required.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications. Knowledge and some programming of PLCs (Allen Bradley), servo drives and VFDs in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge and some programming of Yaskawa robotics palletizer is preferred. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate clearly to others in the organization. Mathematical Skills Strong mathematical skills. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Other Skills and Abilities Project Management, problem solving and multi-tasking.

Qualifications
