  • Work with safety as the number one priority
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical apparatus, equipment, and systems
  • Install and maintain lighting and power distribution system loads
  • Install power distribution devices on new equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in production and facility areas
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance within the facility
  • Estimate cost, time, and material needed for electrical work
  • Maintain records and retrieve data related to work performed using manuals and computerized record-keeping systems
  • Assist other team members and departments as needed


  • High School Diploma or equivalent and; Combination of progressively responsible training and experience as an electrician which adequately demonstrates achievement of a journey-level of skill, adequate to demonstrate completion of an electrician’s apprenticeship program.
  • Maine Electrician Certification and License are required.


  • $25 to $35 an hour
