Position Description: Inside Sales Representative The Inside Sales Representative is the primary contact for customer interactions as it relates to product inquiries, customer quotes, customer orders, and related customer requests. Primary responsibilities include providing a Superior Customer Experience and engaging in revenue generating activity through telephone, email, and live chat interactions. The Inside Sales team works closely with Customer Service, Technical Support, Product Management, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Management to create an overall experience that delights the customer and builds brand loyalty.   • Primary interface with a variety of customers, via phone, email, and live web chat
  • Exercise excellent business judgment to determine additional support as needed or escalation as required
  • Perform customer discovery and recommend appropriate associated products
  • May process customer orders, requests for quote, product returns, etc. through the company’s ERP system
  • May resolve customer issues, questions, and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner
  • Must demonstrate initiative to improve professional skills and department processes
  • Quote generation, presentation follow-up and closure per procedure
  • Consistently add-on and associative sell
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated business judgment
  • Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent general computer skills, including a solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience with a CRM system preferred
  • Professional demeanor, dress, and conduct in a business office setting

Education and/or Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a high paced customer facing sales or service environment
  • High School Diploma required
  • College degree or technology related B2B experience preferred

Environment: Work environment is typically an office environment located on-site during normal or extended business hours.
