Data Reporting Analyst

Job Summary: This position has direct responsibility for company reporting, master data maintenance and analytical support functions to promote the management and sale of Pharmaceutical products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares management reporting related to sales activity, transactional data, master data and contract operations to support informed decision-making
  • Ensures completeness and accuracy of reporting
  • Be the SME on existing business processes and how data connects
  • Distributes reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Develops new reports to support the evolving business needs
  • Beyond just processing reports, provide summaries and Ad-Hoc analysis as requested
  • Works closely with business users and IT to ensure reporting needs are met
  • Builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support company objectives
  • Analyzes, models and documents requirements to reconcile current process issues and enhance systems for future business needs
  • Performs data maintenance in Data Warehouse, Reporting systems, CRM, ERP and other data and reporting tools
  • Analyzes data across systems, both internal and external, and performs regular reconciliations between systems
  • Assists with CRM report development and data maintenance processes
  • Develops processes for data imports as well as report development and management
  • Performs routine data maintenance on system and develops reporting from data housed in system
  • Works with Sales/Contracts/Finance regarding products, pricing tiers, rebates and admin fees that will be offered
  • Prepares detailed reporting to support contract negotiations and other ad-hoc analysis.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Math, Engineering, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant practical experience required with experience in healthcare manufacturing or related company experience preferred; will consider combination of education and relevant practical experience
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel (advanced formula functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, VBA, etc.) required, Power Query and Power BI a plus
  • Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • CRM, Financial, Analytical or Sales/Expense reporting experience
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Strong customer focus with deep understanding and passion for customer experience and satisfaction
  • Experience using Data Discovery Tools a plus: QlikView, Power BI, Tableau
  • Experience in Salesforce a plus
