About the job Field Service Engineer (CNC) Our client is a global leader in technologies for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic, and metal. It designs, manufactures, and distributes machines, integrated systems, and software for manufacturers of furniture, door/window frames and components for the construction, shipbuilding, and aerospace industries. It invests on average 14 million Euros per year in Research and Development, boasting over 200 registered patents. It operates through 9 industrial sites, 39 branches and over 300 agents and certified selected dealers, exporting 90% of its production. Its customers include some of the most prestigious names in Italian and international design.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical installation, repair and maintenance service on our machineries to our customers sites
  • Responsible for maintenance & operating training to customer representatives
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose for malfunctioning machinery cases, whether mechanical, electronic/electrical, and/or pneumatic
  • Service intervention directly to customer sites in order to make all necessary arrangements to ensure the efficient and successful problem resolution
  • Service Reporting
  • Establish a good working relationship with customers on all sites
  • Ensure the Company polices, and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure company equipment is kept secure at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical service interventions mainly on industry machineries
  • Technical Diploma or Equivalent work experience
  • Troubleshooting ability
  • Mechanical, electronic/electrical, and pneumatic principles knowledge
  • Expertise in the use of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Strong command of the English language

Job Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel 90-100% Monday – Friday
