Join our client’s HR team as the Benefits and Compensation Specialist. In this role you will, administer employee benefits and compensation programs, coordinate payroll processing functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment and documentation duties; ensure compliance with company benefit policies and procedures.
  • Manage payroll processing: ensure that proper payroll reports are generated and distributed.
  • Manage open enrollment process and ACA reporting.
  • Oversee the payment of invoices for benefit providers and insurance carriers.
  • Prepare required benefit and payroll reports and filings, including IRS filings, in a timely manner.
  • Manage enrollment, renewal, and delivery of benefits to employees. Oversee processing of benefit programs including new employee enrollment, and election changes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and department activities and records.
  • Evaluate employee benefit policies to ensure they are current and competitive.
  • Monitor and analyze compensation and benefit trends.
  • Provide support to employees to help with their needs.
  • Assist in maintaining company-wide human resource policies and procedures. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all HR data for the company.
  • Serve as liaison with employees, the company and outside benefit vendors.
  • Lead company-wide Wellness Team
  • Maintain knowledge of State and Federal leave requirements to ensure company compliance with the provisions of FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, Employee Retirement Income Act (ERISA), COBRA, HIPAA, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Department of Labor (DOL) and other regulations impacting employee benefits.

  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 3 years of compensation and benefits administration experience
  • At least 1 year experience working in a Human Resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people, as well as present to small or large groups.
  • Ability to set, meet, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated history of making sound decision in a timely manner

  • EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

  • Previous HRIS experience
  • HR designation (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR)
  • Compensation and Benefits designation
